Which Run Is Yours?

  • Fitness Hike
    • Prefer the trails at walking pace? This weekly 6-mile hike is the perfect way to enjoy the outdoors without the run. Every Monday afternoon we head out together for steady miles, fresh air, and good company.
  • Tuesday Trail Trotters
    • Kick off your Tuesday morning with 4–5 miles at a moderate, group-friendly pace. The pack stays together from start to finish, keeping the effort steady and social without anyone getting left behind. It’s a reliable early-week run for trail-experienced runners who want to log miles at a comfortable, friendly rhythm.
  • Tuesday Trail Toddlers
    • Little feet, big adventure. Join us for a relaxed, out-and-back wander through North Park at the pace of the group. Walk, run, or just explore—this hour-long hike covers about a mile or less. Baby carriers and small children welcome, making it the perfect way for the tiniest trailblazers to get outside with the pack.
  • Sexy Pace Run
    • These runs are all about keeping it easy—very easy—with frequent stops to regroup so the whole pack stays together. “Sexy pace” means running relaxed enough to hold a full conversation, a term borrowed from coaches who prefer it over calling a run “slow.” With no one left behind and a sweeper bringing up the rear, this is the most social, laid-back way to enjoy the trails.
  • NightWitch Run
    • For those who can’t sneak in miles during the day—or who just love the thrill of trails after dark—this 4–5 mile evening run is the perfect way to wind down. The pace adjusts to the group, the headlamps keep things lively, and with everyone sticking together, no one gets left behind.
  • Thursday Night Run
    • Thursday Night Run covers about 5 miles with pace groups forming naturally along the way. It’s fun and it’s welcoming—whether you’re looking to blaze the trail or strolling with friends. The highlight? The post-run hangout with snacks, drinks, and laughs that keep the spirit of the run alive long after the last mile.
  • Druid Run
    • Yes, Druid Runs really do start at 5:15 a.m.—no typo here. This run is for the early risers who want to log miles before their day takes over, at a steady, moderate pace. The group sticks together from start to finish, making it the perfect way to jump-start your morning.
  • Relaxed Run
    • Sundays are all about keeping it easy with a mix of running and walking at a truly relaxed effort. It’s the perfect entry point if you’re new to trail running and just as valuable as a recovery run for seasoned runners. Leave the anxiety and pace goals behind and join us for some stress-free miles and fun on the trails.
  • City Series Run
    • Once a month on Sunday morning, we leave North Park behind to explore a new urban trail in Pittsburgh. These relaxed 5-mile runs are perfect for mixing up your routine, enjoying a social, easy-paced run, and welcoming those new to trail running or just joining the North Park Trail Runners. Extra miles are optional if you want a longer challenge.
